Interior design coordination
Questions we resolve with interior designers before the visible technology package is approved.
Bring us in before the reflected ceiling plan, window-treatment details, custom millwork and device locations are final. That gives the team time to compare options, align visible finishes and reserve the space, power and access each solution needs. We can still help later, but concealment and finish choices may be more limited.
Many systems offer multiple faceplate, finish, engraving and grille options. We review the available choices with the design team and flag technical limitations before approval. Exact colors, sheen and material relationships should be evaluated with physical samples whenever those distinctions are critical.
Shade type, roll direction, fabric, pocket or fascia, side channels, power and service access all influence the condition. We coordinate those requirements with the window schedule, ceiling plan, elevations and builder so the finished treatment looks intentional and can still be maintained.
Some rooms support concealed displays, lifts, art-style solutions, invisible speakers or fully integrated millwork; others are better served by a carefully composed visible device. We evaluate sightlines, acoustics, heat, structure, access and budget before recommending an approach. Concealment should not make the system fragile or impossible to service.
We program the control system in collaboration with the homeowner and, when included in the project, the architect, lighting designer and interior designer. The fixture and lighting design establish the visual intent; our role is to make the controls and scenes express that intent consistently and intuitively.
