What is Room Correction?

Room Correction is measurement-guided signal processing that adjusts speaker and subwoofer output to improve response at selected listening positions. Systems may address frequency balance, level, distance, phase, impulse behavior, or target response with different methods.

How Room Correction works in a connected system

A calibration microphone captures how test signals arrive in the room. Software compares those measurements with its target and creates filters or settings within the platform’s capabilities. Measuring several seats can improve consistency, although averaging may trade some primary-seat precision for a broader result.
